As Asia’s pioneering design event, Design Shanghai is leading the furniture and lifestyle industry within the rapidly expanding Chinese market, bringing established international brands to Asia and championing home-grown innovation.

Now in it’s fifth year, the event has extended to other prestigious locations throughout the city including the Xintiandi district.

Attracting over 65,000 discerning visitors to the four-day event each year, Design Shanghai continues to strengthen it’s reputation within the design community and broader cultural landscape.

As the Creative Directors of the multi-award winning event, our role has been to develop a definitive brand identity that is both pioneering and sympathetic to the expectations of our international sponsors, exhibitors, visitors and the design community.

During our five year collaboration with Design Shanghai our team has designed and produced feature installations, key hospitality and operations facilities and developed long term sponsor and media relationships.

Core to the Design Shanghai experience is the carefully curated event program, which represents a key annual highlight.

As creative directors of the entire Design Shanghai event, our design work focuses on high specification design. When referring to our role as designers, there is a strong sense of not only aesthetic excellence in both concept and execution but also across operations and logistics. Designing major features throughout the event and across the entire city of Shanghai, there is a consistency in the message from specifics to broader picture.
