The Beast

The Beast began as a curated, independent floral service, retailing online through small e-boutiques and Weibo, with over 700K followers. It was our collaboration with Lane Crawford, a cafe come florist and an extension of the concept at Design Shanghai that inspired the diversification of The Beast’s business model.

Currently embarking on an ambitious expansion, the company is focused on becoming an international, multi-brand retailer, hospitality franchise and lifestyle platform with over 20 stores opened in China since 2014.

From the early stages of The Beast’s growth, Infrastructure has collaborated with the brand to develop an individual, stylised brand identity and retail strategy. Throughout our association we have focussed on business and concept development and relationship management, introducing the company to key international brands. Partnerships have included F&B installations with Design Shanghai and retail events with Rosanna Orlandi and House of Hackney.

Advising on retail partners and buying strategies along with product range offerings. Curating selections of brands and designers to show alongside their existing and original floral concept.
